Chapter One
I. General Rules[/b]
Flaming
This means you should not be fighting with other members when not in character and you especially should not be provoking people or trying to start fights any other way. Punishment will be given to those who respond to, or start the fight.
Be the bigger man and don't lower yourselves to their levels.
Godmodding
Godmodding is when you say what your opponent or fellow roleplayer does in your post. You can only suggest what might happen under ordinary circumstances, but it is well in their right to do what they see as acceptable under those situations. If you have a problem with what a member has posted in terms of what the character did, then alert a mod who will sort the situation out. Godmodding is not allowed unless permission is given, and even then you can't say you killed the character or anything like that.
Only play your character and only attempt attacks.
Double Posting
Double posting does not simply mean posting twice, it means posting directly after you have already posted once without anyone else responding to your post. Make sure you are allowing the other person to respond. Remember you can roleplay in more than one location so long as you state your new posts being either in the future or the past of your previous thread, it is a loophole I have used often.
Wait for your fellow roleplayers to post before you do.
Spamming
Spamming the forum is when you blatantly talk rubbish around the site, constantly post nonsense, and otherwise being a very annoying so and so. Spamming can come in the form of spambots, created by people with no lives, or by actual people, again with no lives. I don't want to see spamming, if you want to talk OOC, keep it to the topic of the threads and do not go off talking about something else - it's what Pms are for.
Keep on topic of the site and thread.
Powerplaying
Power playing is when you act like you cannot possibly be beaten by anyone. Building your character up to be strong is one thing, but constantly dodging attacks, suggesting your own attacks would completely erradicate a host of opponents in one shot and so on is going a little too far. Suggest your character is powerful by all means, but take hits, take a fall once in a while, it makes roleplaying a whole more fun for everyone that way.
Your character is not godly unless apart of a storyline approved by staff.
Respect
I want everyone to get on, so this means every member and staff member should respect one another. I don't want to see anyone bickering, acting like they own the place, or acting like they are the best roleplayer ever etc. If you can't be civil and respect the members then please find another place to rp.
Manners aren't hard to learn or use.
Image Limits
Avatars can be larger than the default 100x100 by giving the url to staff, however avatars cannot be larger than 150x250, give or take a few pixels. Signature images are allowed but should not be anymore than 500 pixels wide, and height is up to you, so long as it is of a reasonable size. More than 500 may stretch forum width, and as such any other images should be to this limit. Unable to resize your image? Ask a member of staff for help.
PM the admins if you want an avatar added to the avatar list.
II. Site Premise
The Story Aspect
This roleplaying site is largely based around the story aspect, rather than the winning aspect. Of course every story in this genre needs conflict, and that will involve winning and losing sides, however this does not involve entire annihialation of the members and their characters. If you only come to cause trouble and beat people with words and paragraphs, then your ego may be better suited to another site.
The story will be driven by the members, and to a lesser extent the staff. You have the power to make things happen, so go ahead and fight it out, make new events happen, and of course pm us if you have a great idea. We want to make this OUR site, not just the staff's.
Fun, Relaxing and Friendly
We didn't make this site to have people running around causing trouble, or for people to feel pressure when they haven't been able to post in the past few days. We're going to keep trying to make this site available to everyone, with plenty of things to do and enjoy, whilst keeping the friendly and laidback atmosphere this site has so far been.
The staff have plenty of ideas in the pipeline on how to improve the site even more, including the all too familiar martial arts tournament, which is sure to go down a treat later on.
III. Multiple Characters and Locations
Multiples Are Fun
On the site we will be allowing multiple characters, however as you might expect with such a rule, there is a catch or more. Firstly you can have a maximum of no more than one good and one bad canon character, two you can only have up to 3 characters and finally each character you do have will need its own account on the site.
On another note, we also allow your character being in more than one place at a time, but be smart about it. Use past and future to work around things, so if you're fighting Dabura, then you could say in another thread before you go to fight, that you meet with such and such and do whatever. I just don't want to see lots of plot holes form where people are one place at a time when they shouldn't and so on.
